AroView: A faithful screen adaptation of Andrew Lloyd-Webber’s exciting stage musical which retains the original score but adds an extra sheen of kitsch to the much maligned rock-opera genre. Presenting the last few weeks of Christ’s life with an anachronistic, fashionably liberated hippy aesthetic, it’s not quite bible studies, but is certainly a musical classic.
