AroView: A beautiful and besotted love letter to pre-digital cinema in India that is redolent of films like “Cinema Paradiso” and, more recently, “The Fabelmans”.

Told through the eyes of an adorable 9-year-old who becomes obsessed with the creative power of light, this feel-good film reflects his literal rose-coloured view of the world. Shot in the Gujarati language and landscape, it contains some of the most stunning images you might see in cinema, and though it increasingly leans into idealistic fantasy, it ultimately makes a glorious statement about a lost era that will likely bring a tear to the eyes of hardened cinephiles.
