Cold Mountain
AroView: Prestige historical epic set in the closing days of the American Civil War, with a wounded confederate soldier (Jude Law) deserting the ranks to rejoin his sweetheart (Nicole Kidman) back in North Carolina.
Meanwhile, Kidman faces her own battle to survive on the impoverished home-front, with the help of fiesty, face-pulling newcomer Renee Zellweger. A splendidly produced, incident filled drama loosely based around ‘The Odyssey’.
